Do you remember how good the food was when you were a kid?  Was it good because you didn't know any better or was it good because your mom was a great cook?  For me it was because my mom was a great cook.  Not only did she know how to cook, she knew how to buy the right ingredients.  She also knew how to prepare, season and serve a great meal.  Where I grew up in the New York area, meals were an event.  We always looked forward to meals, whether it was Sunday dinner or a Friday night out at one of the great local restaurants. 

When my sons and I opened the first Santini's in 2003, I wanted to capture that same essence and create an environment that made me feel like that kid again.  At each of our Santini's, we incorporated all of these basic principles into our day to day operations.  We only buy the freshest food and we prepare, season, and serve it just for you - made to order!

First and foremost we purchase the best products on the market.  Our meats are all top choice and sliced fresh daily.  Our famous rolls and bread are baked by a local Italian bakery every night and delivered to Santini's early every morning.  Our bakery products have no preservatives, which taste better and are healthier for you.  Since we only use the freshest baked bread for our famous sandwiches and subs, we will serve the freshest bread available and use the day old bread for our crunchy and delicious croutons.

Just imagine our Steak and Cheese sub, served on a freshly toasted grinder roll, seasoned to perfection with your choice of onions, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.  We prepare all of our more than 50 sandwiches with the same care and attention to taste.  The Godfather sub boasts the best Italian meats, your choice of peppers and onions, and our "special" Santini oil and vinegar dressing.  I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

If you haven't tried our pizza, then you are missing the best New York Style Pizza in the area!  How do we know?  Just ask our customers.  We sell so many pizzas that sometimes we run out of pizza boxes!  Santini's pizza features a thin crisp crust, Grande cheese, and specially seasoned Italian pizza sauce baked in a fire brick oven .... I'm getting hungry again!  Words can't adequately describe our enormous calzones, prepared with the same care as the pizzas and served piping hot!.  Just come in and order one for yourself. 

In the mood for a great salad instead?  Our vegetables and fruits are delivered fresh every morning and we make each of our salads fresh daily.  Our soups are the best in the area and really hit the spot!.  Our sweets are delivered directly from a specialty Italian bakery in Baltimore.  The canolis, one of our most popular desserts, are stuffed individually when you order so you get the freshest taste from the first bite!

Santini's Sterling opened in 2003 - a great little spot just off Route 7 in the clock tower shopping center.  Santini's Oakton opened in 2005.  This is our flagship location in Northern Virginia, located on the corner of Route 123 and Blake Lane.  In the 2008, we opened Santini's Reston.  It's located on Baron Cameron Avenue near the intersection of Reston Avenue.  All of our locations feature large screen plasma TV's with HD sports for the viewing pleasure of our fellow sports enthusiasts, even if you don't love our New York teams. 

If you're craving lunch in your office, take a look at our catering menu.  It's perfect for office lunches feeding anywhere from 10 to 500 people.  We also offer delivery with orders of $50 or more.

We do serve beer and wine for our patrons age 21 and over (with proper ID).  We also host  private parties and meetings.  Just call ahead and we will reserve private tables just for you.  It's a great place to entertain clients, reward your employees, or treat your youth sports teams.
